'Heigh-Ho' Karaoke Sing-Along Producer Don Hahn introduces the 'Snow White Returns' segment and explains that while the DVD producers were researching this new Diamond Edition they discovered sketches for a possible sequel to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This was possibly conceived to make use of two scenes that were deleted from the film, but still exist in a crudely animated form. Hahn narrates the storyboards as they go by, giving you a pretty good idea of what the finished short would have been like. The two deleted scenes, in which the dwarves build a bed for Snow White and eat soup, are also included here. The Family Play section has three games and an interactive tool called 'Scene Stealer,' which allows you to play back a music video using photos of you and your family (requires BD-Live connectivity).

The games are easy puzzles of the type that Disney often puts on its DVD releases. They may entertain you for a while, but anyone over the age of nine will likely get bored very quickly. On the Platinum Edition, there was a video of Barbra Streisand singing 'Someday My Prince Will Come,' but times (and corporate marketing strategies) change, and so on this one we are graced with the same song by a much younger – more Disney-fied – artist, Tiffany Thornton. The video in question shows Thornton in a makeshift wood surrounded by large screens playing footage from Snow White. The sneak peek from Princess and the Frog begins with an introduction by directors Ron Clements and John Musker, who talk a little about the inspiration for the film and the music.

Then you get to see the first few minutes of the film (some of it unfinished), in which a young girl growing up in New Orleans first hears the story of 'The Princess and the Frog' and shares her father's dream of opening a restaurant. The audio commentary is the same one provided with the classic DVD and is comprised of old interviews with Walt Disney. For animation buffs and Disney history fans, this is a track you must listen to, if only to hear Walt's first-hand experiences on the film. Moving on to Disc Two, we have 'Hyperion Studios,' which lets you explore Walt's original Studio and 'The One That Started it All,' focusing on the ways in which the groundbreaking film changed the movie industry and the art of filmmaking. Some of the neat features from the Platinum Edition – like the camera tests, storyboards and clips from the old Disneyland TV series – have been left off of this one, but the few that made the cut remain relevant, interesting and fun. 'Animation Voice Talent,' as implied, features information about the voice talent and the early live action reference that they used to make the movie.
