Hey, you don’t really need to be bilingual here to know what this really is about, but I’ll help: 安定性 means “stability”. It’s one of those updates. Playstationlifestyle that this update might be bringing 2 factor authentication, a security measure for sign-in that is becoming the standard nowadays, but this hasn’t been confirmed, and again, the official site only says it’s a stability update.

There’s no report yet about this update patching any known security vulnerability or exploit. I can’t wait for the next time I get to turn my PS3 on, just so I can watch the update screen for 25 minutes before I get to play. It took less than three, for me, maybe because I’m lucky, but really, it took less time to do the system update than to have read this article and written this comment. Security is much better than updating your browser, so that “you can play” a video, on YouTube, or you can just search, from the box, and watch, amazingly somehow, with software that takes some time and which they update twice a month, but obviously not so much, because pretty much everything works the same, without updating. So, you don’t have to do that, but they lie and say you do. I’d rather get a stability update that is so quick and mandatory, for a more secure, functioning console and environment.
